Job description:
-Design and development of tools for the optimization and automation of software development processes (build pipeline, etc.)
-Design, development, maintenance and administration of systems and software in the connection of development and IT operations in the agile, as well as dynamic software development environment.
-Design, development and maintenance of Elastic Search Clusters and applications using the Elastic Stack.
-Proactively support developers in improving stability, monitoring and supportability of software and infrastructure (cloud&on-premise, Kubernetes/Docker)
-Configuration and configuration management, deployment optimization
-Analysis of defects and incidents along various deployment stages including production.
-Coordination of cross-team analysis and troubleshooting activities in the context of system and service-impacted incidents in the production environment
-Involvement in the selection of technologies used in SW development and in feasibility tests
Skills:
-Multi-year, task-specific practical experience in the field of DevOps.
-Extensive technical understanding and analytical skills (problem/fault analysis and troubleshooting), ideally college/university or HTL degree with IT focus (or comparable qualification).
-Knowledge of programming (e.g. Java, JavaScript, NodeJS) and common tools (e.g. Jira/Confluence, Kibana/Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Search, Git, Jenkins).
-Experience/practical knowledge with as many of the following technologies or toolstacks as possible: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Bamboo, OpenID, networking, Linux (up to kernel level), Kubernetes , Docker, Container-D, (network/IT) security, Java, Python, Go, EFK Stack: ElasticSearch + FluentD + Kibana.
-Advantage: Experience with highly scaled solutions on premise as well as with public cloud and experience with migration of workloads to cloud or hybrid approaches.
Salary:
For your commitment we offer an interesting, constantly developing work environment and a remuneration corresponding to the level and position. For legal reasons, we would like to draw your attention to the minimum annual gross salary of €52.220 as stipulated in the collective agreement. The final salary is of course based on your individual experience.
